Robert E. Quittner Jr. joined Franklin Retirement Solutions in 2019 and has 17 years of experience as a financial advisor. His primary focus is to help individuals and small-business owners obtain financial independence as they continue to accumulate wealth, and then ensure they have planned and accounted for their non-working years.
Robert does nothing before getting to know each client and learning what is uniquely important to them as well as their individual situations and requirements. He then leverages a suite of specialized tools and customized market intelligence to develop and deliver a comprehensive, bespoke plan for their exact needs and goals.
Robert is a graduate of Temple University with a double major in business management and accounting. He completed his financial planning coursework at The American College of Financial Services and currently holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation awarded by the CFP Board. He also holds the Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor® certification through the College of Financial Planning, has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams, and holds life insurance and fixed annuity licenses.
His knowledge, expertise and insight is critical to Franklin Retirement’s ongoing mission to provide custom-tailored, client-centric retirement and income planning advice to everyone who comes through the company’s doors.
Robert grew up in Blue Bell and currently lives with his wife, Colleen, in Ambler. He has three grown children, two of whom still live and work in the area. His oldest daughter lives in Skippack and works as a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for a consulting firm while his son lives in Lafayette Hill and works as an Engineering Technician for an environmental firm. His youngest daughter is an avid global traveler in her time off from teaching 6th grade in Pocomoke, MD. Robert is an avid golfer, spending most of his Saturday mornings on the golf course. During the winter months, he can be found on the ski slopes and occasionally travels to upstate New York for snowmobiling trips.

Robert E. Quittner Jr. has earned the CFP® designation. The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional designation is a formal recognition of expertise in the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement (such as with 401(k)s). The designation and trademark are owned and awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. The designation is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board’s initial exams and then continue ongoing annual education programs to sustain their skills and certification.
For Robert to have earned the CFP designation, it means he met four critical requirements imposed by the CFP board.
