Jeremy A. Wechsler, Esq. is an Investment Advisor Representative and Principal at Franklin Retirement Solutions. For 15 years, Jeremy was a full-time practicing estate planning attorney who helped his clients protect their legacies and utilize smart tax planning strategies. Prior to transitioning from estate planning law to retirement & income planning, Jeremy served as a Senior Attorney at Curtin & Heefner LLP, one of the most well-respected firms in Bucks County. Jeremy values a common-sense approach to retirement and income planning, ensuring clients have peace of mind in retirement.
During his career both as a teacher in the Philadelphia public school system (Teach For America) and as an estate planning attorney, Jeremy has shown a passion for helping others, whether it be catching up students that fell behind, or helping clients that did not know where to start with their estate plans. Jeremy continues to be motivated and fueled by seeing his clients find success where they previously found frustration.
Jeremy is particularly passionate about elder planning issues, including asset protection, elder financial abuse prevention, and helping families navigate the complicated and confusing process of care options. Jeremy serves on the advisory board of the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging.
As an investment advisor representative, Jeremy is held to a higher standard than stockbrokers, and he has a fiduciary obligation to act only in his clients’ best interest. Jeremy works with his clients to ensure they have a comprehensive, holistic plan tailored to meet their needs in retirement and beyond. Furthermore, although a fundamental principle is to continually improve each client’s financial position while protecting assets, Jeremy helps his clients with so much more. The Franklin Retirement Solutions holistic process gives Jeremy the unique ability to assist his clients with risk management, income planning, tax savings, estate planning, health care, and more.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys traveling, volunteering, mentoring, fitness, and spending time with his family and Pablo, his energetic dog. Jeremy was born and raised in Bucks County (Langhorne), and has lived in Bucks County, Montgomery County and Philadelphia.
Jeremy received his Bachelor of Business Administration at The George Washington University (2003); Master of Elementary Education at Saint Joseph’s University (2005); Juris Doctorate (J.D.) at New York Law School (2009); and Estate Planning Certificate at Temple University Beasley School of Law (2024).
